Let me get this straight, in 2006 the left went ballistic over the revelation that the Bush Administration was using computers to track phone numbers (of calls made to and from suspected terrorists).  It was the end of the America as we knew it, and the Bush Administration was destroying the Fourth Amendment.

There were comments like these from Democrat politicians: "Are you telling me tens of millions of Americans are involved with al-Qaeda?" and "These are tens of millions of Americans who are not suspected of anything."
