Upgraded TobyToons website

You are now looking at the new (and improved) TobyToons website.

After about two years of the last site, I figured I'd better get moving on an upgrade. You will find this version of the site cleaner than previous versions, and with new functionality.

I enabled the commenting system so that you can have discussions about any of the new cartoons I create. If anyone wants to comment on one of the old ones, contact me through the contact form and I can turn on commenting for any cartoon node from the past. (NOTE: I did enable the commenting on the Barackside cartoon since there is still some confusion out there about where that cartoon originated.)

The graphics and icons are updated. The summary pages for each year (you can see these by clicking on the year in the menu) now support lightbox slideshows. You can click HERE to test that feature out. Once on the page, click any of the images and the slideshow will start.

I also added an RSS feed from Redstate.com (see the right sidebar). I don't know how I missed that one since Redstate (Erick Erickson and all the other contributors) are the ones that kind of got me going again with my cartooning and helped me get some huge exposure - so I'm sending out a big thank you to them.

As I do new cartoons, they will be shown on the front page of the site along with a few of the most recent ones, all in the center column. Basically, the site is going to look/feel more like a true blog site, and I may write a little more with each cartoon.

Hopefully I've worked out all the bugs (undocumented features) in this version of the site, but if not, contact me to let me know.
