Where did this cartoon originate

I've gotten tons of email asking me if I drew this cartoon. It seems lots of people see it posted in other blog sites with a reference to Scotland as the place it was drawn. The answer is that YES, I am the one that drew this cartoon with a special thank you for the pun going to my son.

I realized that I didn't really specify where I am from, so here is the updated comment:
