MSM Vulture (Catharsis aura)

Class: Aves
Order: Falconiformes
Family: Cathartidae
DESCRIPTION: This vulture has a thick head. It has beady eyes that are always looking rightward for any sign of weakness. The female is usually larger and heavier than the more effeminate male of the species. Only a few of the species believe in individuality, but most define their lives according to group identity.
HABITAT: Begins its life in nests located in ivory towers then migrates to coastal cities like NYC and LA (sometimes Chicago and Washington DC).
PREDATOR of Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, etc., anyone that can still understand that puzzling 100+ year old document known as "The Constitution", and any American citizen that wants to limit Federal government power or spending.
OUTLOOK: These birds are threatened with extinction due to (1) their peculiar habit of pecking off their right wing, effectively making them unable to stay balanced and (2) a growing indifference of the American public to left-wing-only news.
NOTES: MSM Vultures are loud birds. They will hiss and squawk continuously whenever there are political points to be scored for the left. They are born with a guilty conscience, but assuage that guilt by making a big show of assigning blame to the American Right (regardless of the facts) - thus leading to catharsis.

Volume and repetition doesn't make something true
Saying something loudly, or over and over and over and over and over again doesn't make it true.
And using a tragedy for some type of political gain or advantage is abhorrent and disgusting.
Just because commercials are loud and often obnoxious, doesn't make me like them any better.
As Rush Limbaugh said, "Journalism is dead" in America.
I hope our new so called Republican Senator's and Reps can grow a backbone, call a spade a spade and live up to the mandate this last election gave them.

Potential loss of additional Constitutional Rights.
In the wake of the tragic shootings in Tucson, Az., it needs to be broadcast that there are already bills being generated in our Congress and Senate that will move to disarm Americans. These actions are, in my opinion, knee-jerk reactions and should be squashed immediately. I wonder what the outcome would have been had someone in the crowd in Tucson had a CHL and was carrying?

One point missed about the Vultures
They can only stay aloft with the aid of hot air pockets. We just need to cut off the pockets of hot air that keep them circling above us.
Vultures and Jackasses
What is most interesting about studying vultures and jackasses is to observe how humans have given adjectives to animals. We judge them and associate them with positive and negative traits. This varies with culture.In another culture, in another time, the vulture is a positive animal and so is the male donkey. But for many today, vultures are vile and jackasses are just stupid.
